Ray Hollis commenced as a Registered Valuer and farm management consultant in 1970. 

Guy Scholefield joined Ray in 1978 which was the beginning of the Hollis & Scholefield partnership. 

Steve Jack began valuing in the Rodney District in 1994, and joined Hollis & Scholefield in 2003. And in 2011 is the sole Director of HSL.
